ABC of Dementia Workshop-Our Lady of Fatima

ABC of Dementia Workshop is free and open to the public. This will be an educational workshop about Alzheimer’s and dementia, symptoms and characteristics of the disease and how to better interact with a person living with dementia. This will also provide you with the understand to be a less stressed caregiver.

This workshop provides an better understanding of what a person living with Alzheimer’s and dementia is dealing with. This educational/informational workshop will demonstrate techniques based on Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care. The passion in doing this workshop is to create a more compassionate culture for the caregivers and the person living with dementia, to provide a safe place for all.
